Finding a good restaurant or bar can be difficult if you do not know the area. We therefore hope that the recommendations given below will help you to enjoy your stay.

 

On this Estepona Living website we only publish restaurants, bars and beach clubs where we like going ourselves or have come highly recommended via a reliable source. In their own category, you will find the recommendations on his website have a good ambiance, service and price-quality.

 

Of course this all depends on the type of cuisine you are looking for! This Estepona Living selection ranges from typical Spanish tapas bars to 5 star restaurants with international top chefs.

 

Lunch is usually between 2 and 4pm and often the day´s main meal for the Spanish. Evening eating starts around 8pm with drinks and tapas, dinner usually starts from 9pm. In the busy summer months and to avoid disappointment, it is best to arrive no later than 8.30- 9pm. Most of the Spanish will start arriving from that time onwards.

Situated only 10 minutes from Estepona, this typical Spanish road side “Venta” is certainly worth the drive: Trendy and very popular because of its relaxing ambience, great food, service and good value for money. Special 3 course lunch menu 11 Euro, dinner menu 25 Euro. Or a la carte. Outside terrace in summer. Jesus, the owner, and his team are great hosts! From Estepona drive in a Westerly direction on the A-7 coastal road towards Duquesa. Exit at km147 at the roundabout with a large gas station, continue in direction Casares (inland). Proceed for a further 5 minutes and you will see Venta Garcia on your left hand side at km7 (7 km from the coast). In August open 7 days a week, rest of the year closed on Mondays.

Nice food and presented very differently, wines sold by the glass, great selection of wines. service is friendly, nice interior design with a modern yet authentic look. Great typical Spanish open air “local” restaurant , directly on the beach. Very casual, (plastic tables) with a local atmosphere, but with great food. On special occasions and large groups open for lunch. You will find this nicely decorated restaurant 100 meters behind the tourist office in the old town.
