Estepona immediately appealed to me when I arrived for the first time… only a few years ago. No mass tourism and no loud music or streets full of bars and discotheques. Estepona has a nice town centre with excellent and affordable restaurants, for a delightful breakfast, extended lunch or dinner.Home cooking is not necessary, although also easy as there are sufficient large supermarkets around in Estepona.

 

Because Estepona is a stretched out town, and there is plenty to see in the environment, it is practical to hire a car. You can reserve a car over the Internet and easily collect it on arrival at Malaga airport.

 

Most importantly, the climate is great; never too hot and sunny most of the time. Back in Northern Europe I really miss Estepona and I will visit Estepona for many years to come. In short, a great place to go on holiday, with something to do for everyone. Sun, sea, beach, water sports, culture, gastronomy and not to forget the heavenly Spanish wines.

 

Enough now about Estepona as it is not my intention for everyone to go to Estepona because of my story! Then my the peace will be gone and I won´t be able to dream peacefully under my favourite palmtrees by the pool… Making plans of where to have dinner that evening… !

The result is very stylish, and suits our personalities very well. We are in our sixties and decided about 10 years ago to search for a nice sunny place to spend time regularly when we were older. After searching throughout Spain we fell in love with the beautiful real Spanish fishing town of Estepona. We found an apartment in a new urbanization in the Estepona Marina.

 

In 2009 we started looking for something else. We contacted Trevor, with whom we had had some pleasant dealings in the past. Coincidently he had a beautiful first line penthouse apartment for sale close to the beautiful Playa Christo Bay, with a nie seaviews towards the rock of Gibraltar.
