People watching in these lively seaside towns is a great experience and one to be recommended !\n<\/p>\n

To the west of Estepona<\/strong>, the marina of Sotogrande is worth a visit. Sotogrande <\/strong>is well known for its world top golf courses (Volvo World Masters). Further west the rock of Gibraltar<\/strong> (England in Spain) is also worth a visit (30 minutes from Estepona). Behind this impressive rock you\u00b4ll find the great (kite)surf beaches of the Costa da Luz<\/strong>, starting at Tarifa<\/strong> on the Atlantic Ocean. Villages such as Zahara de los Atunes, Canos de Meca<\/strong> (lunch at el Pirata!), Bolonia<\/strong> and el Palmar<\/strong> (wide surf beach) for a different beach day in summertime! (1 to 1,5 hour drive from Estepona).<\/p>\n

In wintertime it will only take a 2 hour drive from Estepona to be on your skies in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains<\/strong> (Granada). Also a great place to visit just for day walks in the nature.<\/p>\n

Benahavis<\/strong>, only a 10-15 minute drive from Estepona, is well known for its many nice restaurants. Nature reserves like the Sierra Bermeja, Alcorconales, Sierra de las Nieves and Pedregales<\/strong> surround the Estepona area and offer lots of green mountains full of flora and fauna year around. Ideally suited for organized day trips (hiking, safari, walking).
